Welcome to Kroll Images and krollimages.com!

My name is Brian D. Kroll and this is my new online home. I have always enjoyed photography, but over the past several years it has become a true passion. I enjoy many types of photography, you will find examples throughout the site of everything from macro to landscape images. My favorite subject is the scenery of our natural world, therefore I am very fortunate to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We have the lush Willamette Valley, stunning Oregon Coast, majestic cascade peaks, and abundant natural beauty within a few hours drive. The Columbia River Gorge is practically in our backyard with it's towering waterfalls and amazing scenery, it is my photographic playground.

The web site you see before you today is still in it's skeletal form. The framework is here with an introductory selection of images. I will be fleshing it out with more images, both new and old, each week. You can subscribe to this blog and to galleries around the site via RSS to stay up to date on any changes. Here is a guide to help you find your way:

* Home Page: The front page of the site with links to this blog and and some featured areas of the site.
* Gallery Home: The main gallery page and a secondary landing page for the site with Featured Galleries & Collections, Recently Added, and All Photos.
* All Photos: This is where you will find the images arranged by subject or you can view collections of my favorite images.
o All Star Images: These are my personal favorite and most popular images in three levels; Prime, Best of Best, and Absolute Favorites.
o Flora & Fauna: Flowers, Foliage, Animals, and Wildlife images.
o Pacific Northwest Scenery: Scenic images from all corners of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
o People, Places & Things: Everything from travel to portraits including public samples of my portrait and event photography.
o Personal Images: Images of interest to family and friends, most are protected by password but there are two public collections.
* Image Pages: Individual images automatically sized to fit your screen. There are several options available from here:

o Top Left: Return home or to a parent gallery.
o Top Right: Start a slideshow, add image to cart, send an email link to the image, or add a comment.
o Top Center: Navigate forward or back through the gallery with thumbnails.
o Right Side: Image Information and Comments
o Left edge of Image: Pop out menu to add image to cart, send a link, dim the lights (full screen), or add the image to a personal collection.
o Right edge of Image: Pop up icon to access detailed image information.
o Bottom of Page: Image title with caption, and a place for your comments.

Most of the images on krollimages.com can be purchased as prints for you to enjoy in your own environment. I have three primary price levels for prints which are fulfilled by a well respected lab and shipped directly to you. Most images are at the standard level that can be purchased for as little as $9 (+s/h). A select few images are at the premier level with prints starting at $49 (+s/h). Some personal images are also visible in the public galleries, they can be purchased at prices starting under $1 (+s/h). I personally approve every order so I can provide originals tailored to your order whenever appropriate! Events and Portrait images are priced on a client by client basis, please contact me for more details!
